Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Blazer Jobs has partnered with schools throughout Texas to provide special education students with the services they need for a successful future. Applicants must be licensed in the state they are applying for, including holding an active Texas SLP license, being bilingual, and meeting requirements to supervise an SLPA (including adding the SLPA to their license and completing a 2-hour supervision webinar if they have not supervised before). All local and state certification requirements must be met as well.
To be considered for this role, you must be familiar with various technology platforms that support remote teaching and services. This is a remote, 1099 contract position for the upcoming school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing virtual speech and language therapy services
- Supervising an SLPA and maintaining compliance with supervision requirements
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Documenting sessions and progress in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborating with school staff and families as needed
Compensation is dependent on the district you apply for and years of experience in the industry. Technological screening must be passed, professional references will need to be completed for consideration, and professional liability insurance is required.
