Are you a top-notch and skilled HVAC professional looking to step into a key leadership role in a growing company? We're a well-established mechanical contractor with 35+ years of experience serving custom builders in residential new construction.
We're hiring a dependable, experienced HVAC Installer who can take charge of designing and installing systems in new homes, while mentoring apprentices and ensuring high-quality, code-compliant work. This position is roughly 75% field work and 25% in the office where you will help shape and continue to grow the HVAC division.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, layout, and install HVAC systems in residential new construction homes with a limited number of remodels
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, ERVs, humidifiers, and gas lines
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications in order to accurately create job estimates
- Purchase equipment and materials from vendors
- Lead and collaborate with HVAC crews and coordinate with project managers and contractors
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, cleanly, and up to code
- Occasionally diagnose and service equipment for past customers
- Maintain a clean work van, job site, and desk
What You Bring:
- 8+ years of HVAC installation experience in new residential construction
- Proficiency in HVAC electrical wiring, refrigerant charging, and use of tools
- Experience with multi-zone systems
- Ability to lead a team and train apprentices
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Knowledge and experience creating load calculations is a plus
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Able to pass a background check
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
- EPA 608 Certification and experience with mini-splits, boilers, and/or radiant heat systems is a plus

Pay Range: $45+/hr. depending on experience

Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
