Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing Inc. is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide in-person educational therapy services to students within Durham Public Schools. The SLP will support students with communication disorders through assessment, direct therapy, consultation, and collaboration with school teams to ensure compliance with IDEA and district standards.

Qualifications:
- Education: Master's in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure:
- Current North Carolina license from the NC Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA.
- Experience: School-based or pediatric settings preferred.
- Technical Requirements:
- Comprehensive speech-language assessment
- IEP development and implementation
- Successful completion of all required background checks.
- Soft Skills: Collaborative teamwork, family communication, educational advocacy
- Additional Requirements:
- Must complete the North Carolina DCDEE Criminal Background Check if serving children under age 5.
- Must attend required DPS onboarding and training sessions prior to assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and reevaluations per IDEA and NC DPI standards.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy aligned with IEP goals.
- Participate in IEP team meetings and collaborative planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using DPS-approved systems.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Engage in ongoing professional communication with DPS Exceptional Children's staff
