POSITION SUMMARY
The Acid Brush Machine Operator "C" is responsible for making the brushes, shaving the brushes, and ensuring overall quality of the product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- At the start of each shift, check the order, make sure all necessary materials are at work station, start and cycle machine 3 times.
- Shave tops of brushes to clean up any uneven hair.
- Verify correct length of tube, hair, and overall brush, using a ruler.
- Check overall quality of brushes, including tubes, seams, hair, and staples.
- Fill machine with hair, as needed.
- Place clean brushes in appropriate box. Close gross box when full (144) and place in master carton.
- Place labels on master cartons, sign and date label.
- Responsible for cleanliness of machine and department.
- Expected to achieve daily quotas. See supervisor for specifics on a particular machine.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience:
No prior experience in Manufacturing required.
