Electrical Power System Engineer
Industry leading engineering firm is looking for an experienced Electrical Power System Engineer to support substation design. The role focuses on developing systems for energy sector clients, including new builds, renovations, and expansions.
Responsibilities:

Design and development of electrical protection and control systems for substations.

Creation of one-line diagrams, relay panel layouts, and electrical network architectures.

Performing technical analyses such as arc flash, grounding, harmonics, load modeling, and protection coordination.

Integration and upgrades of SCADA systems.
-
Applying engineering principles to field applications and design modifications.
-
Coordination with internal teams to ensure design compliance and scheduling alignment.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
-
3+ years of relevant engineering experience.
-
Eligibility for FE exam or EIT within one year.
-
Strong knowledge of SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
-
Familiarity with standards such as NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA, and ANSI.
-
Proficiency in relay programming, system analysis, and Microsoft Office tools.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
