Job Description

A warm and creative principal in the Beverly Hills area is seeking a dedicated, experienced Live-In & Travel Executive Housekeeper to join their household team. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in luxury housekeeping, a genuine passion for organization and detail, experience with service and managing vendors, and the temperament to work seamlessly within a close-knit team. This principal values their staff and fosters a warm, boundaried and respectful environment. Travel will be required to NY & The Hamptons about 30-40% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping Services

  • Perform daily cleaning, tidying, and organizing a primary house and guest house
  • Execute deep cleaning on a bi-weekly or monthly schedule to maintain high standards
  • Care for high-end finishes, surfaces, and specialty materials with appropriate products and techniques
  • Keep all areas guest-ready at all times
  • Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, steaming, and careful handling of fine garments and fabrics (knowledge of cashmere care and spot treatment is a plus)
  • Organize closets, pantries, and storage spaces to maintain order and functionality
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of household cleaning supplies and essentials; restock as needed
  • Sort through pantry items regularly to ensure freshness and safety; dispose of expired goods
  • Attend to cleaning around fine art with the utmost care and precision, avoiding touching or caring for any fine art within the residence as the principal will have a specialist for that task
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with all team members, including part-time housekeeper, to ensure seamless daily operations


Household & Hospitality Support

  • Provide occasional service for dinners and small events as needed
  • Attend to guests ensuring that they receive high quality service when at residences
  • Prepare light breakfast (smoothie, coffee)
  • Support the chef to maintain a pristine kitchen environment
  • Run occasional errands (drop of drycleaning, package returns)
  • Communicate potential repair or maintenance issues to the House Manager
  • Oversee vendors to ensure that work is completed properly and to standard


Travel & Travel Assistance

  • Advance to properties if required to prepare for principal / guest arrival
  • Assist with packing and unpacking for principal travel
  • Travel to other residences as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years of housekeeping experience in high-end private homes or luxury hospitality environments, ideally UHNW
  • Deep knowledge of best practices in wardrobe care, fabric care, and fine materials
  • Excellent working knowledge of cleaning tools, appliances, and products, including eco-friendly and non-toxic options
  • Expertise in cleaning best practices around fine art
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and committed to maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with shifting priorities
  • Service-oriented with a warm, calm, poised, and collaborative nature
  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve independently
  • Experience with meal service and guest support
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Able to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Ability to travel 30-40% of the time
  • Must be cat friendly


Location: Beverly Hills, CA - LIVE IN


Compensation: $55-65/hr (+OT) DOE + PTO + Benefits package (M/D/V) , retirement saving after a year


Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8am-4pm with flexibility to work extended hours and occasional weekends if needed
