We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to manage communications with patients via email, chat, and phone calls. This role is crucial for ensuring excellent patient care, addressing inquiries, and providing accurate and timely information to patients and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries through emails, chat platforms, and phone calls.

  • Address patient concerns, schedule appointments, and provide follow-up information as needed.

  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and departments to relay messages and ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient communications in accordance with organizational protocols and HIPAA compliance.

  • Educate patients on connection status of their device and other administrative processes.

  • Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and empathy.

  • Escalate complex medical inquiries or complaints to appropriate personnel.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

  • Prior experience in customer service, healthcare administration, or a related field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using communication tools, including email systems, chat platforms, and phone systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

  • The preferred candidate is bilingual (Spanish).

  • Schedule is 8 am to 5 pm CST.
