Adecco is partnering with a great client in Eden Prairie MN to hire a Transportation Analyst on this 1 year contract opportunity

Pay $40-$42

Shift 1st Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Hybrid schedule!

1 year contract

Duties
Analyzes transportation and distribution methods and procedures to develop and utilize the most economically advantageous and efficient means of delivering products, based on an evaluation of freight classifications, tariff rates, operating capabilities, and concurrence with delivery schedules and deadlines. Resolves transportation issues in day-to-day operations.
Duties include, but not limited to:

  • managing truckload routing assignments

  • resolving tactical shipment issues via any mode (parcel, truck, air, ocean)

  • booking and resolving expedited shipments

  • various administrative tasks to support transportation activity in SAP

  • analyzing shipment activity to identify and correct carrier performance issues, pursue cost reduction opportunities, support carrier negotiations preparation, or provide reporting

Skill / Technical Expertise
Possesses and applies knowledge of the field's terminology, practices, and procedures. Strong Excel skills are preferred. Knowledge of Power BI a plus.
Autonomy / Supervision
Discretion and judgment is expected. Receives general direction from manager or lead personnel. Resolves non-routine problems, elevating more complex issues to higher-level employees. Participates in project teams.
Experience Requirement
Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus typically 2-5 years related experience.



Pay Details: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour
