Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner/CEO
Employment type: Hourly, Full-Time
Schedule: Hybrid, must report to the FL office 2 times a week.

The Role
This isn't a traditional assistant role. You won't be waiting for instructions — you'll be two steps ahead. You will own the Managing Partner's inbox and calendar completely. Not help with them. Own them.
You are the gatekeeper, the force multiplier, and the operator who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. When something lands in the inbox, you handle it. When the calendar needs protecting, you protect it. When a problem needs solving, you solve it — and report back with options, not questions.
Compensation:
$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Own
- Full inbox and calendar management — zero inbox touch by the Partner
- Travel planning and logistics, end-to-end
- Meeting preparation, agendas, and follow-up
- Screening and prioritizing all communications
- Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, and the internal team on scheduling
- Managing personal and professional tasks as needed
- Building and maintaining SOPs so nothing depends on memory
- Special projects and research as directed
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a C-suite executive, managing partner, or founder
- Bilingual in English/Spanish HIGHLY preferred
- Experience in a legal, professional services, or high-stakes environment strongly preferred
- You take radical ownership — if it's in your lane, it gets done
- Proactive communicator who surfaces problems early and comes up with solutions
- Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information
- Tech-savvy: familiar with calendar tools, email management, and project tracking software
- Thrives in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly
- Works well remotely and doesn't need hand-holding
What Success Looks Like at 90 Days
- The Managing Partner has not touched the inbox or scheduled a single meeting themselves
- All recurring tasks are documented in SOPs
- Zero times dropping the ball
- The Partner is spending their time exclusively on high-value work
