Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in accounting systems, and has a strong background in handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are complete and up-to-date.
• Manage billing and invoicing operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Enter and verify financial data in accounting systems to maintain precise records.
• Handle invoice processing tasks, including validation and payment tracking.
• Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for financial operations.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries as required by management.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and billing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
