Order Entry Specialist
The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer orders into the company's order management system. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Order Entry Specialist will collaborate with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment. This is a Direct Hire position located near Lincolnshire, IL.
Responsibilities:

Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system.

Verify order information for accuracy and completeness.

Communicate with customers to clarify order details and resolve any discrepancies.

Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and shipping departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery.

Maintain and update customer records in the database.

Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.

Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring.

Generate and distribute order-related reports to relevant departments.

Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in order entry, customer service, or a related field.

Proficiency in using order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Job Details:

Direct Hire, Hybrid after training

Pay is $50-$55k, depending on experience
