Job Description

We are hiring for a Quality CMM Programmer/Operator. This position is responsible for developing, programming and operating CMM equipment to inspect precision components and ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing and quality operations by creating inspection routines, analyzing measurement data and driving continuous improvement in accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities:

Create, modify and validate CMM programs using MCOSMOS
Set up, operate and maintain CMM machines for detailed dimensional inspections
Develop automated inspection routines for first article, in-process, and final inspections
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD symbols and technical specifications to build accurate measurement plans
Perform precision inspections to verify compliance with customer and internal requirements
Maintain records of measurement data, reports, certifications and documentation
Support PPAP, FAIR, and internal quality documentation processes
Analyze measurement results to identify trends and deviations
Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CMM equipment
Ensure inspection tools are certified and compliant

Qualifications:

Strong experience programming CMMs
Solid understanding of GD&T
Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD models
Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gage)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and documentation habits
Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device or precision machining, a plus
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar systems, preferred
