Position Overview
The Director of Construction will oversee all aspects of construction projects, focusing on luxury residential developments, including multi-family units and condos. This role is responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction operations and supervision, with a proven track record in leading successful construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all construction operations for luxury residential projects, including multi-family and condo developments.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with company goals.
- Supervise construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, budget, and timelines to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction operations, ensuring timely resolution of any issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
- Proven experience in supervising construction teams and managing multi-family and condo developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, safety regulations, and project management principles.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
