Pay Range: $17-$18/hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Paid Holidays
Permanent / Full Time
Location: Houston, TX 77073
Successful candidate must be bilingual English/Spanish
PrideStaff is currently looking to hire a Recruiter for our Northeast Houston office . Recruiters within PrideStaff are part of a sales, recruiting and placement team, and focus specifically on administrative, clerical, and light industrial recruitment and client development. PrideStaff Recruiters connect clients and job seekers through sales and recruiting efforts, and successfully matching talented professionals with top companies in the area.
Recruiter Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare job postings and search job boards to find qualified candidates for open positions
- Screen applicant resumes and determine candidates best fit for open job opportunities
- Conduct phone interviews, in person interviews and guide applicants through the onboarding process.
- Accurately input all necessary candidate information into applicant tracking system.
- To ensure quality service by handling Client and employee matters courteously, properly and efficiently.
- Submit properly vetted and qualified candidates to clients
- Coordinate with clients in scheduling client interviews.
- Process employment verifications and documents in applicant tracking system
- Conduct background, drug screens and reference checks on potential employees.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and greet visitors as required.
- Make sales calls to potential clients.
- Perform other related duties as deemed necessary by the office manager.

Recruiter - Additional Qualifications:
- Must have a thorough understanding of light industrial job roles and have the ability to match candidate qualifications from resumes with job requirements.

Education and Experience
- Associates degree or higher is preferred, but can be substitued by equivalent experience
- HS Diploma or GED is required for all employees
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in basic use of Microsoft Office software.
- Experience in Recruiting for light industrial and clerical positions is highly preferred
Language Skills
- Must be bilingual English / Spanish and able to read/write English fluently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
- Be able to read job descriptions and interpret matching requirements in candidate resumes
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to make decisions of sound judgment according to company policy.
- Ability to deal with problems involving clients or employees.
- Ability to review candidate experience and qualifications and client job requirements to determine best fit.
- Must understand and be able to interpret job postings for light industrial jobs.
