Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiac Intensive Care to deliver specialized patient care in a critical care environment. This contract position is based in Boonville, Indiana, and offers the chance to apply your skills in managing complex cardiac cases, including open heart recovery and post-cardiac procedure care.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN licensure with experience in Critical Care nursing
  • Specialized background in Cardiac Critical Care

  • Skilled in monitoring and managing patients following cardiac procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit

  • Administer medications and therapies as prescribed for cardiac conditions
  • Support patients through post-operative recovery following cardiac surgery
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to healthcare regulations
