Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Flexographic Press Operator responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining various press equipment. The role involves performing all make-ready tasks associated with the press operated, ensuring quality specifications are met and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment.
- Perform all make-ready tasks including mounting plates or installing print cylinders.
- Examine plates/cylinders for imperfections and check for correct positioning of images.
- Prepare web paths, adjust tension and register as needed.
- Make necessary color corrections and anilox adjustments prior to production runs.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain the press, performing minor repairs and replacing parts.
- Conduct periodic maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of thorough knowledge of printing procedures, materials, specifications, and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand job specifications and press capabilities.
- Skill in making precise web paths and adjustments.
- Experience in routine operational maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Google.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Aquaflex, Comco, and Webtron.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of flexography and machine operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83000.00/yr.
The total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay. This company offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance, and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, maternity leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts. They are willing to relocate someone for 5K.
