We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time onsite position serving an elementary caseload ranging from Pre-K through 8th grade. The selected candidate will support a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students while collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to help students achieve communication success in the academic setting.
We are also open to considering qualified Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for this opportunity.
Position Details
- Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) / SLPA
- Location: Onsite School Setting
- Schedule: Full-Time – 37.5 Hours per Week
- Contract Dates: August 2026 – June 2027
- Student Population: Pre-K through 8th Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 40 Students
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Conduct speech evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based planning sessions
- Support students in improving speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication skills
Qualifications
For SLP Candidates:
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
- ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) may be considered
- School-based experience preferred but not required
For SLPA Candidates:
- Active SLPA certification/licensure in applicable state
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
