Warehouse Worker
1st Shift: 7:30 AM - 4 PM
Job Description
This role supports a busy logistics operation by accurately picking, packing, palletizing, and handling shipping and receiving activities. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating material handling equipment and using computer-based systems to manage inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate records. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliable performance, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using pick lists and inventory systems.
- Palletize goods for shipment, ensuring products are stacked and wrapped securely and safely.
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation and update records accordingly.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when certified and authorized.
- Use computer systems and warehouse management software to manage inventory, print labels, and process orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support safe and effective operations.
- Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines while promptly reporting any issues or hazards to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse setting that operates at a fast pace to meet shipping and receiving demands. You will regularly handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and moving materials throughout the facility. The role involves frequent use of pallet jacks, RF scanners, and computer-based warehouse management systems, including tools such as WMS and Excel. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valencia, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
