Director of Experiential Learning

The Director of Experiential Learning develops, leads and manages the Freeman School’s efforts to expand high-impact experiential learning opportunities that enhance the student experience and increase the career readiness of Freeman’s undergraduate and graduate business students. The Director reports to the Senior Associate Dean for Programs and works closely with the Assistant Dean of Corporate Relations and Executive Director of the Career Management Center.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge and professional experience with experiential learning and current trends in experiential learning in higher education.
• Demonstrated strong skills in program strategic planning, development, implementation, operation, management, analysis, and evaluation.
• Knowledge and professional experience with project management.
• Familiarity with systems, software, and technologies commonly used to manage programs.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and supervisorial skills with demonstrated ability to work and manage staff effectively in a collaborative manner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  

Required Education and/or Experience

• Professional experience with experiential learning in a higher education setting; and
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline plus ten years of relevant experience  OR
• A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline plus five years of relevant experience.
