Job Description

Department Coordinator (Education & Training) -Responsible for assisting the Director of Education & Training Department in a range to duties to support department needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Director in all department activities.

· Assist in coordinating and scheduling onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation sessions, training programs, and departmental introductions.

· Assist in preparing and distributing onboarding materials, including welcome kits, employee handbooks, and relevant paperwork.

· Assist in setting up new hire profiles in various systems and platforms.

· Ensure new employees have the necessary equipment, software, and access to Agency resources.

· Coordinate logistics for new hire travel, accommodations, and other travel, if necessary.

· Conduct onboarding surveys and gather feedback from new employees to identify areas for improvement and enhance onboarding experience.

· Familiarity and adherence to all regulatory expectations and ethical standards and Agency policies and procedures, including Agency's Core Beliefs.

· Perform all other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Knowledge of 12-Step programs and/or philosophy.

· Current CPR and First Aid Certifications.

· SUD Registered/Certified

· Registered

1. Current SUD Counselor registration with State approved certification agency (must become certified within 5 years from initial date of registration)

2. Currently enrolled in approved counselor education program with proof of progress.

· Certified

1. Current SUD Counselor certification with State approved certification agency.

2. Must maintain 40 continuing education units during each certification period

3. At least 2 years experience in SUD field.
