Infusion RN for outpatient oncology infusion center. Day shift, 5x8s, 0800-1630. EPIC documentation. 1st time traveler OK.
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA, no HeartCode), Chemo cert (OCN preferred)

BMT; Infusion Center; Inpatient oncology; Outpatient oncology; Active Immunotherapy Specific/Non Specific; Recognize/manage side effects; Care of patient with various types of cancer; Administration of chemotherapy; Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy; Continuous Infusion of chemotherapy; IV push administration of chemotherapy; Management/disposal cytotoxic spills; Monitor chemotherapy; Oral Administration of chemotherapy; Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values; Accessing Ports; Care and management of ports; Central line blood draw; Central Line/Implanted Line Care; Infusion pump management; Intravenous hydration/multivitamins; PICC line care; Starting IVs; Medications (Antiemetic, Antitumor, Antibiotic, Corticosteroids, Neupogen, Hormonal therapy); Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS); Anaphylaxis; Extravasation injury; Hemorrhage; Sepsis; IV push narcotic agents; Medication tolerance/dependence assessment; Neutropenic precautions; Advanced directives; Hospice care; Patient/Family education and support; Withholding/withdrawing treatment; Symptom management (Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy)
