Position Summary
The Clinical Director oversees all clinical operations, ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services, and provides leadership and supervision to a team of therapists and clinical staff. This individual plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ethical, professional, and organizational standards while promoting a positive, collaborative culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and support to therapists across disciplines (Speech, OT, PT, ABA).
- Supervise, mentor, and provide performance feedback to clinical staff.
- Ensure treatment plans are individualized, effective, and aligned with best practices.
- Oversee clinical documentation, compliance, and quality assurance procedures.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to support holistic client care.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training clinical staff.
- Monitor productivity, caseload management, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to support scheduling, billing, and program development.
- Stay current with regulatory requirements and advancements in therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis (or related field).
- Active professional license in the state of practice (e.g., CCC-SLP, OTR/L, PT, BCBA).
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary service delivery models.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional care and fostering team collaboration.
