Position Summary

The Clinical Director oversees all clinical operations, ensures the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services, and provides leadership and supervision to a team of therapists and clinical staff. This individual plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ethical, professional, and organizational standards while promoting a positive, collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to therapists across disciplines (Speech, OT, PT, ABA).
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide performance feedback to clinical staff.
  • Ensure treatment plans are individualized, effective, and aligned with best practices.
  • Oversee clinical documentation, compliance, and quality assurance procedures.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to support holistic client care.
  • Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training clinical staff.
  • Monitor productivity, caseload management, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to support scheduling, billing, and program development.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and advancements in therapy practices.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Applied Behavior Analysis (or related field).
  • Active professional license in the state of practice (e.g., CCC-SLP, OTR/L, PT, BCBA).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary service delivery models.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for providing exceptional care and fostering team collaboration.
