Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and operationally-focused Clinical Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead the design and implementation of pharmacy services for a major corporate healthcare service line. This role is responsible for integrating quality improvement techniques, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and directing a team of pharmacy professionals to provide cost-effective, high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Compensation & Growth
- Starting Range: Up to $73.81/hr (Commensurate with experience).
- Long-Term Potential: The position offers a growth ceiling of up to $107.72/hr. This maximum rate is the target for established leaders achieved through continuous professional advancement, tenure, and organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Service Design: Direct the implementation of operational services, including dispensing and compounded product preparation, ensuring alignment with clinical standards.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Oversee recruitment, hiring, and staff development; foster an environment conducive to innovation and progressive learning.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare and monitor budgets for areas of responsibility, including drug margins, purchased services, and personnel costs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmacy services comply with state and federal laws and maintain all staff pharmacist competencies.
- Collaborative Partnership: Maintain productive relationships with physicians, nursing leadership, and departmental managers to achieve long-term clinical goals.
- Operational Management: Manage staff scheduling to cover hours of operation and on-call needs while validating that care meets current standards of practice.
Mandatory RequirementsTo be considered for this leadership role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: B.S. degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Pharmacy Administration or Healthcare Management (MS, MBA, or MHA) is required.
- Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a broad range of pharmacy operational, clinical, or administrative practice; OR * Completion of an HSPAL postgraduate pharmacy residency.
- Prior inpatient pharmacy leadership experience is required.
- Residency & Certification: * Completion of a PGY-2 postgraduate pharmacy residency is required.
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) certification is required.
- Licensure: Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Technical Skills: Ability to complete all staff pharmacist competencies and demonstrate proficiency in clinical pharmacy research and data analysis.
