Job Description
Territory Sales Representative: Fluid Power
Jacksonville, Florida Area
About the Role
We’re looking for a driven sales professional who understands the world of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electro-mechanical systems. In this role, you’ll manage a defined territory—building relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping customers solve real-world challenges with innovative motion control and fluid power solutions.
This isn’t a transactional sales role. You’ll act as a technical consultant—helping customers design and specify systems, troubleshoot applications, and select products that optimize performance and reliability.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a territory plan to grow revenue and market share.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers across industrial and mobile OEM markets.
- Evaluate customer applications and recommend components, systems, and integrated solutions.
- Prepare drawings, quotes, and proposals to meet specific technical and commercial needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure product accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Present technical features and ROI-based benefits that support customer goals.
- Manage sales reporting, pipeline activity, and forecasting.
- Handle post-sale follow-up to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of technical or industrial sales experience in fluid power, motion control, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical or electro-hydraulic aptitude—comfortable discussing system design and troubleshooting.
- Proven ability to manage a sales cycle from prospecting to close.
- Self-motivated, organized, and skilled at working independently in a field-based environment.
- Clear communicator with strong presentation and relationship-building skills.
- High integrity, customer-first mindset, and solid problem-solving ability.
Education:
High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or electrical technology (or equivalent hands-on experience in hydraulics) is preferred.
Why Join:
- Industry-leading portfolio of fluid power and motion control products.
- Supportive environment focused on training, growth, and long-term career development.
- Competitive compensation with performance incentives.
- Opportunity to partner with top OEMs, distributors, and system integrators across the region.
