As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll be a vital part of our compassionate team, working closely with our residents and helping them maintain their independence while receiving the care they deserve.
What You’ll Do:
As a CNA in our retirement community, your role is to provide hands-on care to our residents and ensure they feel safe, valued, and supported throughout the day.
- Responsibilities
- Assist elderly residents or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents with their daily activities, like getting dressed, bathing/showering, grooming, and eating.

- Help residents take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

- Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring residents are comfortable and safe.
- Offer a friendly, comforting presence during meals, and assist residents with eating when needed.

- Plan and prepare meals and help with physical therapy exercises
- Complete resident’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting residents with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Completion of a CNA Program
- Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Skills/Requirements:

- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

- Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to clients)

Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Day Shift, 7a-7p
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
