We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Associate for a 90-day assignment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and supporting the team in month-end activities. T
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter vendor invoices daily, ensuring appropriate approvals and proper coding to GL accounts across four entities.
- Execute weekly check runs for all entities and issue Positive Pay for all processed checks.
- Initiate wire and ACH payments for select vendor transactions.
- Process FHA and VA payments for closed loans, as applicable.
- Reconcile monthly appraisal costs and accrue for month-end payables.
- Process employee reimbursements and corporate credit card expense reports.
- Support general ledger reconciliations related to accounts payable.
- Assist with state filings and audit documentation.
- Cross-train in other accounting functions and contribute to departmental projects.
- Provide exceptional support to internal stakeholders and vendors.
Required Skills & Attributes:

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant accounts payable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with Encompass and Loan Vision software is a plus.
- Background in residential homebuilding or construction accounting is a plus.
- Previous experience in a Shared Services or corporate accounting setting highly desirable.
