Elementary & Middle School General Studies Teacher
CMCA – Chabad Academy, a Jewish values–based private school in Sandy Springs, is seeking a passionate and nurturing General Studies Teacher, is seeking a passionate and nurturing General Studies Teacher for the elementary and middle school levels. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and experienced in differentiated instruction, including working with students with learning differences in a self-contained classroom.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and aligning the general studies curriculum to meet academic standards
- Delivering engaging lessons through whole-group, small-group, and individualized instruction
- Managing a respectful, structured classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and families to support student success
- Preparing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (or related field); teaching certification or equivalent experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues and families
- Professionalism, integrity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
