Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
Day Shift (5x8)
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $29 - $33/hr (Based on Experience)
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) for an exciting Contract opportunity in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information accurately.

Assist physicians and clinical staff during patient visits and medical procedures.
-
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow to support efficient clinic operations.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EMR systems.
-
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare staff.
-
Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and equipment readiness.
-
Follow infection control guidelines and patient safety protocols.
-
Perform general administrative and clerical duties as assigned.

Support daily clinic operations and workflow management.
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required.

Completion of an approved Medical Assistant Program required.

BLS Certification required.
-
Computer literacy required.
-
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
-
Previous Medical Assistant experience.
-
Experience in a healthcare facility.
-
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Strong clinical and administrative support skills.
