Registered Nurse – MS/Tele / PACU Extended Stay

Location: Rochester, NY

Job Summary (Simple)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU Extended Stay / MS-Tele setting caring for fully recovered post-operative patients awaiting discharge or inpatient admission. Patients include ortho, neuro, GYN, and general surgery cases requiring observation and telemetry monitoring.

Shift Details

• 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
• No weekends, holidays, or call
• Float required to Med Surg PRN
• Epic EMR required
• Scrubs provided

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 1 year RN experience (post-op preferred)
• Med-Surg and Telemetry experience required
• Ability to manage post-operative and observation patients
• Cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation
• IV insertion, phlebotomy, oxygen administration, airway support
• Rapid response/code team participation
• Infection control and isolation precautions
• Heparin protocols and post-op monitoring
