An active RN license and relevant nursing experience are essential, as the supervisor also acts as a clinical resource and provides direct patient care when necessary.

The supervisor serves as a clinical resource for both staff and patients in the department and may function as a staff nurse when required. Role Summary
As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be instrumental in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care and operations in specific areas. You will act as a clinical resource for staff and patients, stepping into a staff nurse role as needed, and will also undertake managerial tasks as delegated by the department manager.

Qualifications
Education:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of direct patient care experience is required.
Licensure:
- Must possess a current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license, fulfilling all state board of nursing requirements.
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
