Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Specialist - Medical for a contract/temporary opportunity in a fast-paced healthcare services environment in Pittsburg, CA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional with experience supporting medical records, health information, compliance, and documentation workflows.

As an Administrative Specialist - Medical, you will help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of medical records that support patient care and operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals, contribute to a collaborative team, and make an immediate impact in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze medical records for accuracy, completeness, compliance, and proper documentation.
- Prepare documentation for physician completion, release of information requests, and medical record inquiries.
- Process subpoenas, court orders, legal documentation requests, and other sensitive records-related materials.
- Perform data abstraction and analysis across inpatient, outpatient, and clinical medical records.
- Respond professionally to medical record requests from healthcare providers, internal staff, and patients.
- Maintain strict compliance with confidentiality standards, HIPAA requirements, and healthcare policies.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $27 to $28 per hour.
