• Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• On-call requirements (to be discussed during interview)

Job Summary

The CVOR Registered Nurse specializes in cardiovascular surgical care, supporting complex procedures including open-heart surgeries. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to perform in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesSurgical Support

• Assist in cardiovascular and open-heart surgical procedures
• Prepare operating room, instruments, and equipment for surgery
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to surgical protocols

Patient Care

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during procedures
• Ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
• Communicate effectively in high-pressure environments
• Support overall operating room efficiency

Flexibility & Floating

• Float to other qualified units or facilities as needed
• Perform duties within demonstrated competencies

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
• Open-heart surgery experience required
• CVOR experience in a hospital setting
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
