Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity shaping the lives of K-12 students as a school psychologist for the upcoming 2026/27 academic year. Multiple openings are available at onsite locations with roles in two vibrant Lowcountry communities. Responsibilities include working closely with diverse student populations, providing crucial support and assessment, and collaborating with educational staff and families to create positive learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current School Psychologist certification or license appropriate for K-12 settings
- Master’s degree or higher in school psychology or related field
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and consultation skills
- Experience with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in an onsite, collaborative educational environment
Role Highlights:
- Provide psych-educational assessments for students across K-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with a multidisciplinary team
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and emotional development
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling services as needed
- Contribute to school-wide interventions and student support services
- Participate in problem-solving and response-to-intervention processes
This contract begins August 2026 and runs through June 2027, placing you in a supportive school environment where your expertise directly contributes to student success. Exact assignments and caseloads in Beaufort and Bluffton will be discussed in detail during the interview stage.
