Human Resource Assistant Job Description: Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist with daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records and managing HR documents.
  • Recruitment: Help in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate onboarding for new hires, including orientation and training.
  • Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate employee data and assisting with payroll-related queries.
  • HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement activities and performance management processes.
  • Other tasks as assigned to support the office of the HR Department

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an HR role or administrative position is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software (HRIS/HRMS), Employment Job boards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with employees and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
