Position Overview:
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of heavy civil, wastewater, and pipeline projects. They will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all activities on the project site, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Communicate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and government agencies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that timelines and budgets are met.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Maintain and update project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and permits.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in heavy civil, wastewater, or pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
