Job Title: Electrician - EMT Conduit Specialist

Job Description

Position is located in Taylor Texas paying up to $150 in per diem

Work Environment

The role is based on a construction site with a schedule of 5/12's or 6/10's, working Monday through Saturday. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, suitable for those who thrive in hands-on, physically engaging roles.

We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team, specializing in EMT conduit work at a major semiconductor project. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant underground construction projects, ensuring high-quality electrical installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install and bend EMT conduit according to project specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installations.
  • Pull and organize wire throughout the construction site.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on site.

Essential Skills

  • At least 4 years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Proficiency in conduit bending and wire installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
  • Current TDLR JW Card for licensed electricians.
  • For non-licensed electricians, a current JW Card from another state and a TDLR Apprentice Card.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • AP-3 to 4 level with a TDLR Apprentice Card.
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • Experience working on construction sites is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
