Job Title: Electrician - EMT Conduit Specialist
Job Description
Position is located in Taylor Texas paying up to $150 in per diem
Work Environment
The role is based on a construction site with a schedule of 5/12's or 6/10's, working Monday through Saturday. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, suitable for those who thrive in hands-on, physically engaging roles.
We are seeking skilled electricians to join our team, specializing in EMT conduit work at a major semiconductor project. This position offers the opportunity to work on significant underground construction projects, ensuring high-quality electrical installations.
Responsibilities
- Install and bend EMT conduit according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints for accurate installations.
- Pull and organize wire throughout the construction site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on site.
Essential Skills
- At least 4 years of experience in electrical construction.
- Proficiency in conduit bending and wire installation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
- Current TDLR JW Card for licensed electricians.
- For non-licensed electricians, a current JW Card from another state and a TDLR Apprentice Card.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- AP-3 to 4 level with a TDLR Apprentice Card.
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience working on construction sites is preferred.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
