Were excited to hire an Assistant Operations Manager (AOM) for our Citadel center in Colorado Springs! This is an excellent opportunity for a current RBT looking to grow into a leadership role and support the day-to-day operations of a high-performing clinical team. The AOM will partner with the Citadel Center Operations Director to ensure smooth scheduling, well-run group learning, and a welcoming clinic environment. This role is a great first step into operations leadership and sets you up for continued growth within Soar.
Role Ramp-Up and Assistant Centralized Trainer (ACT) Responsibilities: To support a strong onboarding experience for new team members and provide a structured ramp-up into the AOM role, the first three months of this position will include responsibilities as an Assistant Centralized Trainer (ACT). You will spend up to 15 hours per week supporting our centralized RBT training process.
In this capacity, you will:

Help guide new RBTs during their first two weeks of training at Soar

Assist with role plays, spot checks, and delivery of key training content

Support the Centralized Trainer by providing mentorship and encouragement to new hires

Summarize each new RBTs performance and progress at the end of their training

Coordinate closely with the Citadel center leadership team to ensure new team members are ready to succeed
This temporary ACT support will give you valuable experience in coaching and mentorship while reinforcing Soars standards of care. After the three-month ramp period, you will fully transition into your AOM responsibilities full time.
What Youll Do as an AOM at the Citadel Center: Over time, the AOM role will be comprised of 50% daily scheduling and 50% center operations and environment management.
Scheduling (50%)

Lead daily scheduling at the Citadel center, particularly from 7 am to 11 am

Make independent, thoughtful decisions to pair therapists with clients based on skills and needs

Communicate clearly and promptly with the team about any schedule adjustments
Center Operations and Environment (50%)

Conduct center environment checks and uphold fidelity standards for cleanliness, organization, and readiness

Restock materials and submit replacement requests as needed

Manage preparation for group learning activities (e.g., art and circle time), including materials setup and staff coordination

Monitor fidelity to the group learning schedule and support staff through reminders, coaching, and accountability

Assign In-Center Support tasks to RBTs based on the Citadel centers needs and available staffing
Qualifications:

RBT 2 level or above (internal candidates); external candidates must have at least one year of experience as an RBT, ideally serving young children

Experience providing coaching or mentorship to peers

Strong communication and organizational skills

Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred

Must be located in or able to commute to the Citadel center in Colorado Springs
