Dream Believe Inspire Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced bilingual caregiver (Spanish/English) to provide overnight supervision and assistance for a client with advanced dementia and Parkinson's disease.
Schedule
- 12:00 AM – 4:00 AM
- 2 nights per week
- Consistent schedule preferred
About the Client
The client has:
- Advanced dementia with significant confusion and memory impairment
- Parkinson's disease
- Frequent nighttime waking and wandering behaviors
- Need for redirection, reassurance, and close supervision throughout the shift
- Spanish-speaking needs, making bilingual communication essential
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight supervision and ensure client safety
- Assist with nighttime toileting and mobility as needed
- Redirect and calm the client when confused or disoriented
- Monitor for wandering or unsafe behaviors
- Communicate effectively with the client in both Spanish and English
- Document observations and report concerns to the care team
- Maintain a calm, patient, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)
- Experience caring for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Experience with Parkinson's disease preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift
- Professional, compassionate, and dependable
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and comfortable working with individuals who may become confused, repeat questions, wander, or require frequent reassurance during the night.
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience.
