Job Title: Telemetry Technician

Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Compensation

• Local Candidates: $1,000 – $1,400 per week
• Travel Candidates: $1,400 – $1,700 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) in multiple clinical settings, ensuring proper electrode placement
• Communicate effectively with charge nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members
• Accurately enter and verify orders within the electronic medical record system
• Retrieve and review laboratory results, promptly reporting critical findings to the charge nurse
• Maintain documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
• Safely operate and manage telemetry monitoring systems and related medical equipment

License & Certification Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
• Telemetry Technician Certification required

Education & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Technician in a hospital setting (required)
• Completion of a Dysrhythmia Course required
