An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of one year of experience to provide compassionate and skilled care during night shifts. This contract position is located in Clearfield, PA, and offers a consistent schedule of three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Ideal for nurses holding a PA or compact nursing license, including local residents and those new to contract nursing.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid PA or compact RN license in hand
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred, but first-time contract nurses are welcome
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively with Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
- Ability to maintain patient ratios: 1 RN to 5 patients (day shift), 1 RN to 7 patients with LPN (day), 1 RN to 6 patients (night), 1 RN to 8 patients with LPN (night)
- Open to blocked scheduling and adaptable to dynamic clinical environments
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Deliver attentive nursing care to patients during night shifts
- Monitor patient conditions, document care, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per protocols
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
- Collaborate with LPNs and other staff to maintain optimal patient ratios and quality of care
