Compensation: $18 to $25 per hour depending on experienceJob Summary:We are seeking reliable, safety-conscious Construction General Laborers and Demolition Laborers to join our team. These roles involve hands-on physical work at active job sites and require a strong commitment to following all safety protocols. Ideal candidates will be dependable, hard-working, and prepared to work in dynamic environments where strict attention to safety, personal protective equipment (PPE), and site-specific rules is mandatory.Key Responsibilities:Construction General Laborer:

  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up, including removal of debris and hazardous materials
  • Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely
  • Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, temporary fencing, and other structures
  • Operate hand tools and power tools with care and proper use of PPE
  • Dig trenches, mix concrete, and perform other basic construction tasks
  • Support skilled trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as directed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work site at all times
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
  • Always wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots, etc.)
  • Observe and comply with all site safety regulations and company policies

Demolition Laborer:

  • Perform interior and exterior demolition using tools such as sledgehammers, crowbars, jackhammers, and saws
  • Carefully remove walls, flooring, fixtures, and non-structural components
  • Sort and dispose of debris in compliance with environmental and safety guidelines
  • Operate demolition equipment safely and responsibly
  • Identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to minimize risk
  • Always use the appropriate PPE for demolition work, which may include respirators, eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection
  • Follow site-specific demolition procedures and adhere to all OSHA safety standards
  • Ensure proper containment and disposal of dust and debris to protect other workers and the environment
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors, especially regarding safety concerns or incidents

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in construction or demolition preferred but not required
  • Strong focus on safety and willingness to follow all site-specific safety rules
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50+ lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working in all weather conditions and various site environments
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and able to follow directions accurately
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Must wear all required PPE on the job site without exception
  • OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification a plus
