Sterilization Microbiologist
43944 33.00 an hour w2 contract + 6 PTO days
Job Responsibilities:
· Interpret cleanroom monitoring test results including non-viable particles, viable active air, viable
surface, pressure differential, and HEPA velocity
· Document and investigate excursions from cleanroom monitoring where results did not meet
specification
· Document and investigate environmental disturbances that occur in the cleanroom (ex. pressure
differential out of specification)
· Document and investigate product bioburden or endotoxin excursions
· Support Supplier Change Notifications (SCN) by evaluating impact of change to product bioburden, bacterial endotoxin, and sterilization
· Support changes to the manufacturing environment by writing Environmental Disturbance Reports (EDR) for planned activities (adding equipment, tables, personnel, etc)
· Conduct review of routine test results in LIMS (product bioburden, product endotoxin, environmental monitoring, etc)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related scientific field plus 1+ years of related work experience with a complete understanding of specified functional areas, or an equivalent combination of education and work
experience.
Knowledge of medical device manufacturing and cleanroom environments
