Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school settings is needed for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This role supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade across two schools in a small district located in Elnora, Indiana. The position requires 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with an onsite work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students spanning grades K-12.
- Provide speech-language therapy services addressing a variety of speech and language disabilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student goal development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Indiana State Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to school-based speech-language pathology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Location and Schedule:
- Onsite at two district schools within a close geographic area.
- Hours: 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., 35 hours per week.
- Contract duration: One full school year (2025-2026).
