Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health for an exciting Travel or Local job in Aventura, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of a 53-bed Behavioral Health unit
- Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
- Supervise approximately 108 FTEs including RNs, BHTs, and CNCs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and JCAHO standards
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and satisfaction initiatives
- Provide clinical leadership and crisis intervention guidance
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain operational efficiency and fiscal productivity
- Support staff development and mentorship programs
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality behavioral health care
Requirements:
- 3–5 years Behavioral Health nursing experience in acute care setting
- Minimum 1 year leadership experience (Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or similar)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Florida RN License or Multistate Compact License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 90 days of hire
