A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized support within a healthcare school setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to students requiring clinical intervention.
Location: York, PA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with clinical guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school or healthcare environments, preferably with pediatric populations
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt treatment approaches based on student needs and evidence-based practices
