Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract role involves delivering speech and language support remotely to students, utilizing teletherapy and telespeech techniques. The assignment is located in Texas and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments and providing individualized therapy plans for K-12 students.
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students and track progress.
- Collaborating with educational staff remotely to integrate therapy goals within the students academic environment.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with state and district requirements.
- Ensuring all credentials and licensing are current and meet district standards prior to engagement.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
- ASHA certification is preferred, particularly for candidates with documented clinical hours.
- Experience providing speech-language services via teletherapy or telespeech, especially within school-aged populations.
- Ability to manage a caseload remotely while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual proficiency is an advantage for select positions.
This contract will begin as soon as possible and continue until late May. Assigned caseload and specific scheduling details will be provided upon placement.
