The role of the Field Service Team (FST) at Caring Pathways (caringpathways.com) is a unique role within our mobile veterinary practice, which is focused on end-of-life care for pets. FST members must be able to replicate an exemplary level of professionalism and care to our client families.
The FST role involves assisting families who have just experienced the loss of a beloved pet. We support client families by extending compassion and kindness while handling the arrangements for the pet’s cremation services. In most cases, the FST will assist one of our veterinarians after an in-home appointment by transporting the pet back to our physical office; other times the FST will visit a family's home independently to assist with a deceased pet. We offer services to the Denver Metro community from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and have openings for those able to work 30-40 hours weekly.
The skills necessary to be successful in this role are:
- Demonstrated history of responsibility, showing up on-time and completing responsibilities with an attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Ability to work independently with commitment to teamwork
- Safe and efficient driving with good driving record
- Completion of record keeping, organizing, and cleaning tasks at our location
- Move stretchers weighing up to 60lbs independently, and up to 120lbs with assistance
- Create pet memorial keepsakes such as clay paw prints
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the pet care industry
- Flexible schedule to participate on weekends and holidays
