InMotion Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our hybrid concierge urgent care team. This is a unique opportunity to provide in-home patient care in Fort Lauderdale, supported remotely by a telemedicine provider. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated professional with strong clinical skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our hybrid concierge urgent care.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to patients' homes for scheduled hybrid concierge urgent care visits (within Fort Lauderdale)

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures

  • Record vital signs, collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and prepare patients for exams

  • Accurately document medical histories and maintain electronic health records (EHR)

  • Administer medications (oral/IM) as directed by providers, following safety protocols

  • Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment plans

  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory of medical supplies

  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with both patients and providers

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities

  • Maintain patient privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance

  • Mileage is reimbursed for all patient visits

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Some flexibility may be required based on patient needs

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program – required

  • BLS certification – required

  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology

  • Familiarity with medication administration protocols and outpatient workflows

  • Experience in an urgent care clinic, high-volume clinic, or emergency room – preferred

  • Spanish-speaking – preferred but not required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a healthcare team

  • Must have reliable transportation

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED – required

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program – required
