InMotion Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our hybrid concierge urgent care team. This is a unique opportunity to provide in-home patient care in Fort Lauderdale, supported remotely by a telemedicine provider. We are looking for a compassionate, motivated professional with strong clinical skills and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our hybrid concierge urgent care.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to patients' homes for scheduled hybrid concierge urgent care visits (within Fort Lauderdale)
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Record vital signs, collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and prepare patients for exams
- Accurately document medical histories and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
- Administer medications (oral/IM) as directed by providers, following safety protocols
- Provide patient education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper inventory of medical supplies
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with both patients and providers
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
- Maintain patient privacy and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Mileage is reimbursed for all patient visits
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Some flexibility may be required based on patient needs
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program – required
- BLS certification – required
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and outpatient workflows
- Experience in an urgent care clinic, high-volume clinic, or emergency room – preferred
- Spanish-speaking – preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally within a healthcare team
- Must have reliable transportation

Education:
- High school diploma or GED – required
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program – required
