Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab settings, located in Kansas City, KS. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment in a fast-paced EP and Cath Lab, where efficient and dedicated nursing professionals make a significant impact on patient care.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EP Lab
- Valid Kansas RN license or a pact RN license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
- Strong hardworking ethic with the ability to efficiently manage 4-7 cases per 10-hour shift
- Willingness to stay and plete procedures even if the shift extends beyond scheduled hours
Scheduled Hours:
- 10-hour day shifts
- 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, four days per week
- Note: While 5:30 PM is the scheduled end time, willingness to stay until cases are plete is required
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care in an EP Lab environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a busy cath lab setting
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and effective outes
- Maintain meticulous documentation and pliance with clinical protocols
- Adapt quickly to the fast-paced workflow, contributing to smooth and efficient case turnovers
