Lead Process Technician – Injection Molding

Are you a seasoned injection molding professional looking to take the next step in your career? This is an opportunity to lead a team of Process Technicians while applying your deep technical expertise to optimize production, troubleshoot complex molding processes, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the sampling of new and existing molds, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Process Technicians.
• Diagnose molding and process issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate on process improvements and research new methods to enhance production.
• Establish and maintain quality control specifications for new molds.
• Interface with customers during new product sampling and address process or quality concerns.
• Maintain and review production documentation, cycle sheets, and sample tickets.

Who You Are:

• Extensive experience in plastic injection molding methods, processes, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communicator, able to convey technical information clearly in English, verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic production environment.
• Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and production monitoring software.

Tools & Environment:

• Hands-on use of laptops, Excel, calculators, phones, and cameras.
• Work in an industrial plant environment, complying with all safety rules.
• Safety glasses required; hearing protection where applicable; steel-toed boots recommended.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and move throughout the plant for extended periods.
